Saturday - Service Project and Disc Golf and BBQ - 10:00am to 5:00pm

We’ll start the day with a service project from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Shalom Center, a Bloomington community organization serving people experiencing poverty, hunger and homelessness. As part of their quarterly Help Us Be Good Neighbors! event, our group will help clean up the surrounding neighborhood, along with some indoor cleaning and facility projects. Shalom Center will provide all necessary supplies, including trash bags, grabbers, safety vests, gloves and cleaning supplies.
We are hoping to have at least 25 volunteers. Please come give back to the Bloomington community while getting to know other alumni and current players better! Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that can get dirty, and be prepared for the weather since much of the work will take place outside. Location is 1 mile from campus, near southside Kroger.

Then we'll head to Crestmont Park for a disc golf tournament and barbecue starting at 1 p.m. We'll have rolling starts as folks arrive for the disc golf tournament. Trophies are on the line! We'll also be hanging out for the afternoon at the shelter right by Hole 1. We'll be grilling and playing spikeball, kan jam, cornhole and all kinds of lawn games. Bring the family!
