WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We've reached the midpoint of our annual donation campaign, and there's more work to do. 

Back in October, IMUF set an ambitious donation goal—to raise $15,000 for the team this year. So far, we've raised just over $5,000. That leaves us $10,000 from of our goal.

If you've been on the fence about donating this year, that's fine. We know that life can get ahead of us. But, as we reach this halfway point and begin our stride toward the finish line, we wanted to take a moment to share some insight into why this matters.

This fall, the HoosierMama?s and HoosierDaddie!s spent nearly $8,750 on tournament costs alone—which includes hotels, gas, and bid fees. For the upcoming spring season, they've budgeted for another $12,295 in costs. That means that, for this school year, the total cost for both teams to attend tournaments is expected to exceed $20,000.

And, in case you weren't aware, this year, the Mama?s have nine tournaments booked—four in the fall, and five in the spring. If the Mama?s make it to Nationals, that number jumps to ten. Excluding the two Daddie!s tournaments and Nationals, the average cost per tournament is $2,398—$1,215 for hotels, $709 for gas, and $474 for bid fees.

To pay for this, the team draws from its fundraising dollars and cash reserves. But, still, even after that money is spent, there's still a more than $12,000 difference. To cover that difference, the team would have to collect $300 in dues—per player!

But the team doesn't have to do that. Because of the numerous alumni donations made during last year's campaign, IMUF was able to cover that difference and allow players to play for our program FOR FREE.

Because covering that cost gives more players a better opportunity to play for our program, one of IMUF's main goals is to continue to cover every player's dues and lower the financial barrier to ZERO. 

But we can't do that without the continued support of all of you. Our ask is simple: give what you can. Whether you can give $10, $100, or $1,000, every donation goes to support our players and build our program. 

Our goal is $15,000.
